Citroën Aircross X 2025 Brings Premium Features, Strong Safety, Practical 7-Seater Layout, Turbo Performance, and Exceptional Value to Indian SUV Buyers
The Indian SUV market is buzzing with fresh launches, and among the newest entries stands a unique and eye-catching model — the Citroën Aircross X 2025. The French carmaker has updated its popular SUV with an exciting new variant that blends European design flair with Indian practicality. Offering a mix of premium looks, family-friendly space, and smart tech, the Aircross X 2025 is one of the most compelling SUVs in its segment.
Citroën has always been known for its quirky, modern design language, and the Aircross X 2025 takes that DNA a step further. The SUV gets a new Deep Forest Green color, giving it a more sophisticated and robust presence on Indian roads. The signature split-headlamp setup, sleek LED DRLs, and the large Citroën chevron logo add a distinctive look that sets it apart from rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Tata Curvv.
The overall styling feels compact yet muscular, with balanced proportions and smart use of chrome and gloss-black accents. The bold wheel arches, cladding, and newly designed alloy wheels enhance its SUV character, while the dual-tone roof option adds to the visual appeal for buyers who like a sportier touch
Spacious Cabin and Smart Interiors
Inside, the Aircross X 2025 focuses on comfort and elegance. The cabin has been reimagined with leatherette upholstery, a two-tone brown-tan theme, and bronze detailing across the dashboard and door panels. These touches lend a warm, upmarket vibe, especially compared to the all-black interiors of some competitors.
The SUV comes in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, catering to both small and large families. The 7-seater variant is particularly appealing for those who need an occasional third row for kids or guests. While the last row isn’t the most spacious for adults, it’s perfect for family trips or city use.
Another major upgrade is the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster for a modern driving experience. The system is smooth and intuitive, and the display quality feels premium for the price bracket.
Citroën has also added a new in-car voice assistant called “CARA”, which responds to multilingual commands — a first in the segment. The top variants also offer ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera pack, enhancing convenience and comfort for urban as well as highway driving
Engine Options and Performance
Under the hood, the Citroën Aircross X 2025 offers two petrol engine choices:
1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine – Available in the base “You” variant, producing around 82 PS of power. It’s paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, ideal for city commutes and budget-conscious buyers.
1.2-litre turbo–petrol engine – Produces around 110 PS and 190–205 Nm of torque, depending on whether you choose the manual or automatic version. The turbo engine is lively and well-suited for highway cruising and overtakes.
The 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options ensure that drivers can pick according to their preference. The automatic version, especially, feels refined and smooth, making it one of the easiest SUVs to drive in traffic conditions.
Ride quality has always been Citroën’s strong point, and the Aircross X 2025 continues that tradition. The suspension is tuned to handle Indian road conditions with ease — bumps, potholes, and uneven roads are absorbed effortlessly. It offers a smooth, “floating” ride typical of Citroën cars, making long drives relaxing and comfortable.
