Skoda Kushaq Facelift 2026 Launched with New Design, Premium Features, Advanced Safety, Turbo Performance and Improved Comfort in India
The Skoda Kushaq Facelift 2026 brings a major upgrade to one of India’s most popular compact SUVs. With a refreshed design, new-age features, and improved comfort, this updated model aims to strengthen its position against rivals like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Skoda has focused on making the Kushaq more premium, feature-loaded, and technologically advanced.
Inside the cabin, the Kushaq facelift offers a much more premium and tech-rich interior. It now gets a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. One of the standout features is the addition of a panoramic sunroof, which was missing in the earlier model. The SUV also introduces rear seat massage function, making it one of the most comfortable cars in its segment.
In terms of features and technology, the new Kushaq is loaded with modern upgrades. It includes connected car technology, voice control with AI integration, wireless charging, and multiple USB Type-C ports. Practical features like automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming IRVM further improve daily usability.
When it comes to performance, the Kushaq facelift continues with the same reliable turbo petrol engines. It offers a 1.0-litre TSI engine and a more powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine producing up to 150 hp and 250 Nm torque. Transmission options include manual, automatic, and DSG gearbox. A new 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0L engine ensures smoother driving and better efficiency.
Safety remains one of the strongest aspects of the Kushaq. The facelift model comes with six airbags as standard, along with ABS, ESC, hill-hold assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets front parking sensors and all-wheel disc brakes in higher variants. Importantly, the Kushaq continues to offer a strong build quality with a 5-star safety rating, making it one of the safest SUVs in its class.
In terms of mileage, the Kushaq offers around 18–20 km/l depending on the variant, which is competitive for a turbo petrol SUV. Pricing is expected to start from around ₹11 lakh and go up to ₹19 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a value-for-money offering considering the features.
Overall, the Skoda Kushaq Facelift 2026 is a well-rounded package that combines style, performance, safety, and premium features. With significant upgrades in design and technology, it is set to attract both new buyers and existing Skoda fans.
